March School Holidays

Original plans for the family was a week long holiday in KL, for my kids to return the favour to their 2nd cousins who made the trip to Brunei. Alas, the house construction costs took precedence so the kids have to make do with local holidays and meet up with their 1st cousins instead.

So, where did we go? After work on Friday we left KB for Bandar (I should've been on leave but work calls for me to be in the office. Not the first occasion, so didn't feel that bad).

We stayed at my sister in law's place in Berakas (10 km from Bandar Seri Begawan) and over the 3 days (Friday to Sunday) took our kids and nieces out to movies, jungle gym, arcade at the mall, the new giant Giant supermarket and visit the Brunei Museum - haven't been there for more than 20 years!

Unknown to us, my parent in laws also decided to stay over at my sis in law's place so we also took them out to Berrywan Steamboat place - we closed out Friday evening by shopping at Hua Ho Mall until asked to leave hehehe.

Back to the office on Wednesday, Mrs wasn't too happy cos she's still on leave. Made up to her & the kids and took them for a quick picnic at Taman Muhibbah.... at 6.10pm! Well, at least there was 20 minutes before Maghrib.

Well, that is how we spent our school holidays!

Iman at UNI arcade at the Mall. What an adorable smile! Try being angry when she pulled that smile heheh. I can't.

Iman & Izzan on the rides.

Muhammad @ KB Painting Competition

Muhammad was one of the few Kindycare school pupils chosen to represent the School at the KB Drawing competition for National Day. It didn't turn out well for him, he was tired, they had to sit about for almost an hour and he decided to use poster colour instead of colour pencil. Anyway, at least he tried.

Waiting

He realised he should've brought his colour pencils instead

And he really wished he brought those colour pencils!
